Egypt purchased 240 KMT of milling wheat from the Black Sea region
On July 5, GASC completed another tender, where it purchased 60 KMT of Russian wheat and 180 KMT of that from Romania for delivery on September 1-15. The average C&F purchase price was USD 269.83/MT (almost USD 1 cheaper than in the previous tender).
Remarkably, Ukrainian wheat on FOB basis was offered at the most attractive price, but Egypt did not buy it because of expensive freight, UkrAgroConsult reports.
