Drought in the EU, and 50 million grain harvest in Ukraine: is it enough to fill the gap through new logistics corridors?

The world’s food security is at risk. The EU faces a drought and crop failure. Despite the impressive decrease in the harvest, significant grain stocks have been accumulated in Ukraine. Milling wheat of 2022 is predicted to comprise at least 60% of the total production. Given the drought in Europe, we can expect wheat prices to go up in the autumn.
Will Ukrainian farmers export grain? At what price? Will farmers and traders make forward deals and what can contribute to this? What could be the most promising destinations and how to save logistics costs? What crops are projected to be the most profitable?
You can find all the answers on September 15 during the Agro&Food Security Forum. Grains, Oilseeds, Pulses. The risks of 2023-24 seasons and new challenges for Ukrainian farmers will be discussed at a forum panel.
