December corn exports from Ukraine totaled almost 4.9 MMT (+23% from November, +28% from December 2020/21). Almost 10 MMT had been exported since the beginning of the season. This is 10-11% higher compared to last year, UkrAgroConsult reports.

Apart from China, Egypt also reduced imports (down 23% y-o-y).
The majority of other importers stepped up purchases compared to the same time last year: ЕU (+8%), Turkey and Iran (threefold), Israel (+46%), Libya (+18%).
South Korea had imported over 385 KMT of Ukrainian corn since the beginning of the season, or more than in the entire last season (53 KMT).
