Crop production in Eastern Kazakhstan aiming at export
The agricultural development in East Kazakhstan region is aimed at switching crop production to export-oriented crops – primarily soybeans and corn. The planted area of these crops will expand more than four times by 2024, with their exports to increase 10 times, from 1.5 KMT to 15 KMT.
As a reminder, Eastern Kazakhstan is the top producer of sunflower oil, UkrAgroConsult reports.
