Croatia’s wheat output up 2.2% y/y in 2024 – first estimate
Croatia’s output of soft and hard wheat (winter, spring and seed) rose by an estimated annual 2.2% in the crop year 2024, to some 840,000 tonnes, the statistical office said on Friday.
Winter barley and spring barley production increased 15.5% year-on-year to 335,000 tonnes, the statistical office said in a first estimate of production of cereals in the current year.
It said that the production of rapeseed increased by 14% to 49,000 tonnes and production of oats went up 35.3% to 46,000 tonnes compared to last year.
