March corn is up less than a penny this morning.
January soybeans are up 4¢.
CBOT and Minneapolis wheat are up less than a penny. KC wheat is up 2¢.
“Grain and oilseed futures hovered near unchanged in a quiet session overnight, with many traders who are sticking around with an eye on the door for the coming three-day Christmas holiday weekend,” says The Brock Report. “Generally favorable South American weather hangs over the market, along with concern about the Mexican border situation and its impact on exports.”
Live cattle are up 23¢. Feeder cattle are up 65¢. Lean hogs are up 85¢.
Crude oil is up $1.03.
S&P 500 futures are up 21 points. Dow futures are up 79 points.
Outside of the U.S., milling wheat is down on the European MATIF exchange. Corn and No. 1 soybeans are up on the Chinese Dalian exchange while No. 2 soybeans are down.
