Corn harvest in Ukraine in the new season will be less than the previous one by 4 mln tons – USDA report

USDA analysts forecast world corn production for the 2024/25 season at 1,219.93 million tons (1,228.09 million tons in MY 2023/24). World corn exports are estimated at 191.1 million tons (-6.28 million tons) and ending stocks are forecast at 312.27 million tons (-0.8 million tons). This is stated in the USDA report for May.

Ukraine’s corn crop forecast is 27 million tons (-4 million tons), exports are forecast at 24 million tons (-2 million tons), ending stocks – 1.48 million tons (-1.43 million tons).

USDA analysts estimated U.S. corn production at 377.4 million tons (-12.23 million tons), with exports forecast at 55.88 million tons (+1.27 million tons). Ending stocks will be at 53.39 million tons (+2.03 million tons).

USDA experts forecast China’s corn harvest at 292 million tons (+3.16), imports at 23 million tons, ending stocks at 212.84 million tons (+1.98 million tons).
