Corn exports from Russia increased 47% in the new season

Russia exported 144.46 KMT of corn in September 2019/20, or 47% more than a year earlier, reports UkrAgroConsult.
This can be compared with the first month in the previous years:
– the biggest imports in September 2019/20;
– as before, the biggest importer is Iran (up 37% year-on-year);
– a significant volume of corn was imported by Turkey;
– the following countries increased corn imports from Russia: Latvia (the top importer among EU countries) – up 21%, Georgia – up 92% and Azerbaijan – up 180%.
