May corn is down 2¼¢.
May soybeans are down 6¾¢.
CBOT wheat is down 3¢. KC wheat is flat. Minneapolis wheat is up less than a penny.
This morning USDA released the weekly Export Sales report. Corn, soybean, and wheat net sales for the week ending Feb. 22 all fell within the expected range:
- Corn: 1,082,300 metric tons for 2023/2024; up 32% from last week and down 5% from the prior four-week average
- Soybeans: 159,700 metric tons for 2023/2024; up from last week and down 30% from the four-week average
- Wheat: 327,300 metric tons for 2023/2024; up 40% from last week and 2% from the four-week average.
Live cattle are down $1.58 this morning. Feeder cattle are down $2.78. Lean hogs are up 30¢.
Crude oil is down 8¢.
S&P 500 futures are up 14 points. Dow futures are down 5 points.
