Corn is down 7¢ and soybeans are down 4¢.
CBOT wheat is down 1⁄4 of a penny. KC wheat is up 3⁄4 of a penny. Minneapolis wheat is up 3¢.
Naomi Blohm, senior market advisor with Total Farm Marketing, says the trade is watching the weather and given the cold and snowy/rainy weather, not much planting likely got done this week.
The Brock Report says grain and oilseed futures are “in retreat” over a lack of demand, technical selling, and the poor planting outlook.
Live cattle are down 23¢. Lean hogs are up 45¢. Feeder cattle are up 35¢.
Crude oil is up 54¢.
S&P 500 futures are down 7 points. Dow futures are up 11 points.
