China to purchase frozen pork for state reserves

China plans to buy 20,000 tonnes of frozen pork for state reserves, informed the National Development and Reform Commission on Friday.
This will be the first batch of buying this year. The state planner also said it will continue to strengthen hog production capacity and price control, and stabilise hog market operations.
