China says it is ready to join negotiations on the extension of the “grain deal”
China has supported the “fully realized” Black Sea grain initiative and expressed readiness to participate in negotiations on the extension of the agreement. Chinese Foreign Ministry speaker Mao Ning said, Anadolu reports.
“China hopes that the Black Sea grain initiative will continue to be balanced and fully realized,” the diplomat said.
Beijing has also put forward its initiatives on international cooperation in food security, she said.
“The Chinese side is willing to strengthen communication and cooperation with all parties to promote greater international consensus and ensure global food security,” Mao Ning said.
