Canada opens its market for New Zealand dairy products

Canada has agreed to allow access for dairy products from New Zealand after a long-running trade dispute.
This was announced recently by New Zealand Trade Minister Todd McClay Dairy, writes News.today.
It is noted that despite the violation of the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP), Canadian markets have previously restricted imports of dairy products from New Zealand.
Now Canada has agreed to change its dairy quotas. This adjustment is expected to bring New Zealand dairy exporters an additional $157 million.
