Bulgaria. Soil drought continues adversely affecting yields
Crop condition:
- late-sown crops in the south are in poor condition because of hot weather (38-39°C);
- the harvest of early-sown grains and rapeseed is complete.
Weather forecast August 5-9:
- a temperature drop and weather change;
- enough precipitation will be available;
- soil drought will persist in the east and south;
- precipitation is expected in the west – this will be a favorable factor for the development of late crops.
