Bulgaria. Plentiful precipitation improved conditions for spring crops
Weather conditions. The weather in late May was cool, UkrAgroConsult reports.
Moisture supply. Significant precipitation increased topsoil moisture content and improved growing conditions for spring cops. Rains in late May and early June came too late for spring wheat in the east of the country.
Crop condition. Cool weather with frequent rains has made fungous pathogens more widespread.
