Belarus set to increase agricultural production in 2021
In Belarus, it is planned to increase agricultural production by at least 2.4% in 2021, the Agriculture and Food Ministry says.
The key tasks for 2021 are as follows:
– restoration of the crop rotation system in line with recommendations of Belarus’ Academy of Sciences and Agriculture and Food Ministry, introduction of advanced practices maximizing productivity of crop varieties;
– obtaining at least 8.7 MMT of grains, 730 KMT of rapeseed, 5 MMT of sugar beet, UkrAgroConsult reports.
