Belarus boosted soybean meal imports from Ukraine by 36%

Soybean meal exports from Ukraine in September-December 2021/22 hit a three-year low of 179 KMT (-5% y-o-y). They somewhat caught up to last year’s pace, soybean crush quickened, UkrAgroConsult reports.
Export potential in MY 2021/22 is forecasted to be 35% higher from MY 2020/21.
The biggest importers are still Belarus (-36% y-o-y) and the EU (-27%).
Growth in exports was registered to the following markets: Azerbaijan (+44%), The Netherlands (+32%), Poland (+3%).
A slowdown in exports was fixed to Uzbekistan (-63%), Hungary (-62%) and Georgia (-56%).
