Azerbaijan may become a major grain hub

The Azerbaijani market may become an interesting route for bringing grain to the Near East. Analysts point out that Iran will most likely shortly return to the grain purchase market, and the Caspian fleet may fail to cope with increased cargo offerings. So, overland routes are a method of evading the foreseen difficulties, and this is the domain where Azerbaijan could provide its services as a transit overland hub, reports UkrAgroConsult.
