Azerbaijan increased wheat imports by more than 23%
Azerbaijan imported 86,654 tons of wheat in January this year, which is 16,509 tons (23.5%) more than in the same period last year.
This was reported by Report with reference to the State Customs Committee.
The value of imported wheat amounted to 18 million 695 thousand dollars, an increase of 2 million 412 thousand dollars (14.8%). The share of wheat imports in Azerbaijan’s total imports was 0.91%.
