Autumn wheat-sown area in Bosnia’s Federation up 2.7% in ’22
A total of 17,216 hectares were put to wheat in Bosnia’s Federation during autumn sowing in 2022, up 2.7% year-on-year, the entity’s statistical office said on Wednesday.
Area sown with barley last autumn covered 4,090 hectares, down 10.6% on an annual comparison basis, the statistical office said.
Area sown with rye fell 6.7% on the year to 1,523 hectares.
The Federation is one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Serb Republic.
