Ukraine. EBRD provided EUR 15 mln loan to ZELENA DOLYNA

Asters acted as a Ukrainian law counsel to the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) on up to EUR 15 mln secured loan to LIMITED LIABILITY COMPANY “AHROKOMPLEKS “ZELENA DOLYNA”, a member of Zelena Dolyna Group, Ukraine’s medium-size group of agricultural companies.
The EBRD loan will be directed at constructing a modern EU-compliant cattle farm, purchasing agri machinery as well as expanding the landbank and the existing grain silo capacity. This will help to improve the production efficiency of the agricultural group and enhance its competitiveness in the region.
The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is the largest international financial investor in Ukraine. Since the start of its operations in the country in 1993, the Bank has made a cumulative commitment of more than EUR 15.5 bln through 507 projects.
