Ukraine. Astarta-Kyiv grain storages receive above million tons of new crop grain

Grain elevators of the agri-industrial holding Astarta-Kyiv received more than one million tons of new crop grain as of 8 November.
As reported by the company, since the start of 2021/22, 326 thou. t of early and 726 thou. t of late grains have been received for storage. This volume is 25% higher from the previous season.
All Astarta-Kyiv grain storages meet route elevator requirements. The facilities operate its rail cars and locomotives. Astarta-Kyiv marks that the turnover of its elevators is close to 2.
The company promotes cooperation with third-party grain suppliers within the loyalty programme. In the current season, the share of grain purchased under the tolling scheme makes up 20%, the highest-ever indicator for the company.
Astarta-Kyiv grain elevators are located in Poltava (4), Vinnytsya (1), and Khmelnytsky (2) regions.
Grains export from Ukraine as of 6 November came to 26.07 mln t. Since the start of 2021/22, staple grains export has enhanced by 17%.
