ASF reported on 3 farms in Thailand
According to the Bangkok Post, African swine fever (ASF) was found at three small pig farms in two districts of this lower Central province. Authorities culled 117 pigs to prevent the disease from spreading, said provincial livestock office chief Yutthira Banthukul.
A 5-km radius has been put around the three areas, and pig movement has been restricted.
Farmers will be compensated at 75% of the market price.
