Almost 18.4 million tons of Ukrainian grain were exported

As of January 2, in 2023/2024 MY Ukraine exported 18 mln 393 thsd tonnes of grains and pulses, which is 4 mln 368 thsd tonnes or 1.2 times less than last year. This is reported on the website of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
Exports of Ukrainian wheat amounted to 7 million 597 thousand tons, which is 814 thousand tons less than last year.
Ukrainian farmers also exported 1 million 074 thousand tons of barley and 1.0 thousand tons of rye.
Exports of Ukrainian corn amounted to 9 mln 579 thsd tonnes, which is 3 mln 060 thsd tonnes or 1.31 times less than last year.
Also, 58.7 thousand tons of flour were exported (78.3 thousand tons in terms of grain), which is 10.3 thousand tons less than last year.
The previous data published by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food on the exports of grains and pulses were dated December 29. According to them, in 2023/2024 MY the total export volume of grains and pulses was 17 mln 932 thsd tonnes.
