Almost 14 million tons of Ukrainian corn were exported

The volume of exports of grains and pulses from Ukraine in 2024/25 MY as of February 21 amounted to 28.2 mln tonnes, up 0.6 mln tonnes or 2% compared to the same period last season.
This is evidenced by the data of the State Customs Service, published by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
Thus, about 11.7 mln tons of wheat were shipped this season, which is 9% higher than last year. Thus, 72% of the total volume of wheat agreed in the grain memorandum (16.2 mln tons) was exported.
Barley supplies to foreign markets amounted to 2.1 mln tonnes, up 36% year-on-year.
The company shipped 10.8 thou tons of rye, which is 11 times more than last season (1 thou tons).
Ukraine exported nearly 14 mln tons of corn, which is 7% less than the same date last season.
Flour exports from Ukraine amounted to 46.4 thsd tonnes, down 36% year-on-year.
For reference: in 2023/24 MY, the exports of grains and legumes totaled 50.8 mln tonnes: wheat – 18.4 mln tonnes, barley – 2.5 mln tonnes, rye – 1.6 thsd tonnes, corn – 29.4 mln tonnes, flour – 98.2 thsd tonnes.
