Algeria purchased soft wheat

On March 18, the Algerian state-owned company OAIC held a tender for the purchase of at least 50 thsd tonnes of soft wheat for delivery to the ports of Mostaganem and/or Tenes. It is reported by Reuters.
According to the preliminary data, the wheat was purchased at the price of $240-241 per ton on C&F basis. The volume of purchases has not yet been disclosed.
Under the terms of the tender, the delivery will take place on April 1-15, April 16-30, May 1-15, May 16-31, June 1-15, June 16-30, 2024 or one month earlier than the specified periods, subject to delivery from South America or Australia.
