Algeria buys 150 thsd tonnes of wheat at tender
On November 7, the Algerian state-owned company OAIC finished accepting bids for participation in the tender for the purchase of at least 50 thousand tons of milling wheat of random origin. This is reported by Reuters.
The tender purchased at least 150 thousand tons of wheat at a price of $266 per ton on a C&F basis. According to traders, the contracted grain is of Russian, Romanian and Bulgarian origin.
Negotiations on wheat purchase are still ongoing. The final volume of contracted grain will be announced later.
