Canada has reduced canola and pea exports this season
From the start of the current season, which began on August 1, 2025, to October 20, Canada exported 10.4 million tonnes of grains, pulses, and oilseeds, down 10% from the same period last season, according to Zerno Online, citing the Canadian Grain Commission (CGC).
Canola exports fell to 1,234,800 tonnes (-57% compared to the same period last season), peas to 817,400 tonnes (-18%), durum wheat to 805,200 tonnes (-1%), and soybeans to 686,500 tonnes (-7%).
Exports of soft wheat increased to 5,121.0 thousand tons (+14%), barley – to 1,000.6 thousand tons (+84%), lentils – to 371.0 (+24%).
