2022/23 Argentina Corn 19.7% Harvested vs. 30.3 Average

The corn in Argentina was 19.7% harvested as of late last week compared to 25% last year and 30.3% average. In the core production areas, the corn was 60-65% harvested with 20-30% harvested in southern Argentina and 0% harvested in far northern Argentina. The early planted corn was 44.8% harvested while the later planted corn was 1.4% harvested.

The corn in Argentina was rated 54% poor/very poor, 42% fair, and 4% good/excellent as of late last week. The good/excellent percentage was down 1% compared to the prior week. The soil moisture for the corn was rated 50% short/very short and 50% favorable/optimum. The favorable/optimum percentage was down 1% compared to the prior week.
