2020/21 Ukrainian flour exports the lowest in nine years

14 KMT of Ukrainian flour was exported in June. This is twice as much as in May, down 21% from June 2019/20. 127 KMT of flour was shipped abroad for the entire 2020/21 – down 62% from MY 2019/20 and the least in nine years, UkrAgroConsult reports.

As before, the biggest buyer of Ukrainian flour is the UAE with a 25% share.
In addition, the top 5 importers in MY 2020/21 included Moldova, Palestine, Israel and Somalia.
Most buyers reduced imports from MY 2019/20: the UAE (-62%), Moldova (-25%), Palestine (-37%), Somalia (-45%), Singapore (-86%) and Mozambique (-85%/
Among the major importers, only two countries stepped up flour purchases from Ukraine compared to last year: Israel (+14%) and Venezuela (+1%).
