15 mln tons of wheat will be harvested by Kazakhstan this year

The International Grains Council (IGS) has released a summary of global grain production. According to the data, Kazakhstan’s wheat harvest in the 2024/2025 season is expected to reach 15 million tons.
It is worth noting that the previous estimate of international grain experts on the gross wheat harvest in Kazakhstan was lower by 2 million tons and was forecasted at 13 million tons in the current season.
Kazakhstan’s wheat exports in 2024/2025 season are forecasted at 9.8 mln tonnes. Here, the forecast was also increased from 9.1 mln tons.
It is worth noting that, in general, Kazakhstani farmers are satisfied with the situation in the fields. They hope for high yields and forecast a gross harvest of at least 13 million tons.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture forecasts the new harvest in Kazakhstan at 14.5 million tons.
As for the global production, according to the USDA experts, this season wheat production will increase significantly in the following countries: Australia, India, Kazakhstan, Canada, China, Pakistan, and America. On the contrary, in Europe, Russia and Ukraine, the volumes will be lower.
