Romania. No frosts events are expected during this week
Weather conditions. Elevated air temperatures (4..6°С above their long-term normal) continued dominating Romania last week. The average air temperature was within -2…+9°С. On November 29, thermometers in the south of the country showed +14°С.
Moisture supply. Precipitation of various intensities occurred all over Romania this past week. Its highest rates were seen in the south (25 mm over the week) and the west (10-15 mm). Soil drought is easing gradually – it remains mostly in central and southeastern parts of Romania.
Precipitation in the form of sleet and rain is forecast mostly in the west and southwest in the near future (within 1-7 days). No frost events are expected during the coming week.
