Non-EU countries continue to be the major importers of Romanian wheat this season
Current pace of Romanian wheat exports slightly exceeds last season. In July-December 2019/20 MY Romania increased exports by compared to n the same period of 2018/19, UkrAgroConsult reports.
About 75-80% of wheat was delivered to non-EU destinations (+35% y/y).
The reason for export improvement was unusually high shipments for December with higher demand seen mainly from non-EU countries.
Among them – Egypt, Jordan, Philippines, South Korea and Israel.
