Russia. Grain terminals operating at maximum capacity
Grain terminals in Russia operation at maximum capacity. This opinion was voiced by Aleksandr Goloviznin, Analytics and Logistics Research Director of LLC Morstroytechnology. He pointed out that Russian grain terminals currently operate at maximum capacity. At the same time, the expert noted regretfully that no launch of new deep-sea grain terminals is planned in Russia within the coming two years, reports UkrAgroConsult.
Mr. Goloviznin explained that state support is needed to increase grain-handling facilities in ports. In particular, investors could be attracted by a cooperative scheme envisaging necessary infrastructure and dredging works at the government’s expense.
