Ukraine. Rye exports hit an all-time high
In July-April 2018/19, Ukraine exported rye at a record pace, reports UkrAgroConsult. Rye exports from Ukraine totaled 88.1 KMT, i.e. they hit a 16-year high.
The European Union is the top market for Ukrainian exporters. Ukrainian exports to the EU totaled 53.8 KMT (100% more than in the whole of MY 2017/18).
Noteworthy, for the first time this season, Ukraine exported rye to the Philippines (15.25 KMT).
Moreover, Bangladesh resumed rye imports from Ukraine after a pause in MY 2017/18 (9.4 KMT).
