Zelenskyy talks to Indonesian President: assures of readiness to resume agricultural exports
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy had a phone conversation with his Indonesian counterpart. He discussed with Joko Widodo the implementation of the Ukrainian peace formula and “grain corridors”.
Zelenskyy spoke about three successful meetings at the advisor level in preparation for the Global Peace Summit and invited Indonesia to join these efforts. He wrote about this on Telegram.
He also emphasized that despite Russia’s attempts to obstruct civilian shipping in the Black Sea, Ukraine remains a guarantor of global food security.
“I informed the interlocutor about alternative “grain corridors” and assured him that Ukraine is ready to resume the supply of agricultural products to Indonesia. He invited him to join the global humanitarian initiative #GrainFromUkraine and the summit of the same name in November,” the statement said.
