Zelenskyy discusses Grain from Ukraine initiative with President of Sierra Leone

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy had a phone conversation with President of Sierra Leone Julius Maada Bio and discussed the Ukrainian Peace Formula. The Head of State announced this in his Telegram.
“I had a phone conversation with President Julius Maada Bio of Sierra Leone,” he said.
Zelenskyy noted that he was pleased to resume contact between the two countries at the highest level after a 20-year pause.
At the same time, the President of Ukraine congratulated Sierra Leone on its election to the UN Security Council for 2024-2025 and expressed hope for continued consistent support for Ukraine’s territorial integrity and sovereignty.
“We discussed our Formula for Peace, the successful meeting of advisors in Malta and the consolidation of support for our vision of peace among African countries, including on regional platforms,” he said.
In addition, Zelenskyy told the President of Sierra Leone about the Grain From Ukraine initiative and invited him to the second summit to be held within its framework.
As Ukrinform previously reported, the second summit of the Ukrainian humanitarian initiative Grain from Ukraine under the auspices of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is scheduled for the end of November.
