Zelenskyy appointed Chrystia Freeland as economic development advisor
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has appointed former Canadian Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland as his economic development advisor, Zelenskyy announced on Telegram.
“Today, I appointed Chrystia Freeland as my economic development advisor,” the president wrote.
According to him, Freeland is an expert in economic issues and has significant experience in attracting investments and carrying out economic transformations.
The president emphasized that now Ukraine needs to increase internal resilience – for the sake of restoring Ukraine, if diplomacy works as quickly as possible, and for the sake of strengthening our defense, if due to the procrastination of partners, we will have to work longer to end the war.
