Zelensky signs laws on returning currency from agricultural exports to Ukraine
The President has signed draft laws No. 10168-2 and No. 10169-2, which improve the implementation of foreign economic operations for the export of certain goods.
Danylo Hetmantsev, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Finance, Taxation and Customs Policy, announced this on Telegram.
“The laws propose to introduce mechanisms that minimize opportunities for abuse during the export of agricultural products, which will ensure greater foreign exchange earnings for the state and have a positive impact on the stability of the national currency,” he explained.
Mr. Hetmantsev assured that all schemes with “black” grain will soon be eliminated.
“I strongly advise customs officers, law enforcement officers and “businessmen” not to jump into the last carriage of the train at this juncture, trying to export “black” grain. We are watching. There will be consequences,” he summarized.
