Xi Jinping supports the extension of the “grain deal”

During talks with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Chinese President Xi Jinping supported the extension of the grain deal.
This was reported by the press service of the President’s Office.
According to the agency, during the talks, Zelenskyy expressed our country’s readiness to remain a guarantor of global food security. At the same time, he noted that Ukrainian ports are blocked by Russia, and with them export routes.
“In this context, the parties expressed general support for the need for proper implementation and continuation of the Black Sea Grain Initiative. Volodymyr Zelenskyy informed about the implementation of the global humanitarian program “Grain from Ukraine”, the Presidential Administration said.
As a reminder, on April 26, Zelenskyy and Xi Jinping held their first talks since the start of the full-scale war.
