Without delay: G20 participants call for extension of the “grain deal”

The participants of the G20 Foreign Ministers’ Summit sent a clear message that the Black Sea Grain Initiative should be continued and done without delay. This was stated by U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken.
“The signal that countries have sent today is clear: continue the Black Sea Grain Initiative and strengthen it. Do it without delay,” he told reporters at a press conference following the summit.
The initiative expires on March 18, 2023.
