Wheat reserves in Kazakhstan exceed 13 million tons
At the beginning of November, grain reserves in Kazakhstan amounted to 16.8 million tons, of which wheat – 13.157 million tons. This is reported by the Bureau of National Statistics.
Of the total volume of grain, food stocks amounted to 11.694 million tons, seeds – 944.8 thousand tons and fodder – 4.2 million tons.
There were more than 9.8 million tons of food wheat in storage, 717.9 thousand tons in seed stocks and 2.562 million tons of fodder.
According to the statistical department, there are more than 4.8 million tons of wheat in storage of agricultural producers, 3.8 million tons in elevators, 2.4 million tons in farms, 144.5 thousand tons in wholesalers. Stocks of flour millers amounted to 924.6 thousand tons and 855.3 thousand tons at other legal entities.
Barley stocks amounted to 2.252 million tons: 937.7 thousand tons – food, 1.167 million tons – fodder and 147.4 thousand tons – seeds.
In addition, stocks of corn in Kazakhstan amounted to 442.3 thousand tons, rice – 376.6 thousand tons, rye – 25.6 thousand tons, oats – 163.7 thousand tons, buckwheat – 92.4 thousand tons.
