Volodymyr Zelenskyy sees no interest in extending the grain deal with Russia
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy sees no interest in extending the grain deal with Russia. He said this during a press conference in Helsinki, according to a statement on the President of Ukraine’s website.
“We are not looking for Russia’s interest, we are looking for the fulfillment of the agreement with our partners. Regarding the grain initiative, we have a clear agreement with Antonio Guterres, the UN Secretary-General, and with Turkish President Erdogan. Our agreements are ongoing.
We plan to continue our initiative. They, for their part, have a conversation with the Russian side, and they have to agree with them on the continuation of this corridor, which is so necessary for other countries of the world. Just like many of us,” the President noted.
