USDA maintains forecast of Kazakh wheat production in the current MY
The US Department of Agriculture has maintained its forecast for wheat production in Kazakhstan in the current agricultural year (July 2023 – June 2024) at 12 million tons.
The forecast for wheat exports also remained at 10 mln tons, and imports – at 2 mln tons, as in December.
The carry-over grain stocks as of July 1, 2024 are estimated at 1.32 mln tonnes, the same as a month earlier.
