US winter wheat conditions have improved significantly

Last week, the condition of winter wheat in the United States again improved significantly. This is reported by Zerno On-line with reference to the National Agricultural Statistics Service under the U.S. Department of Agriculture (NASS).
The share of wheat crops in good to excellent condition increased by 6% to 55%. A week earlier, the figure was up 5%, from 44% to 49%. A year ago, 50% of crops were in good to excellent condition.
