US Forecasts Growth in Soft Red Winter Wheat Production in 2025

Experts from the North American Millers’ Association (NAMA) predict that US soft red winter wheat production will increase by 3% in 2025 compared to the previous year, reaching 354.1 million bushels. If realized, this would be the third-largest crop in the past decade. Production is expected to grow mainly in the Central and Southern states, offsetting declines in the Midwest and East Coast regions.
A slight increase is also forecast for soft white winter wheat production, reaching 216.3 million bushels (+0.4%). Despite localized yield declines in some areas, overall growth is attributed to favorable weather conditions and expanded planting areas.
Further development of the grain sector in the Black Sea and Danube region will be discussed at the 23 International Conference BLACK SEA GRAIN.KYIV on April 24 in Kyiv.
