Ukrainian soybeans remain the cheapest in the world despite price increases
Despite the fact that Ukrainian soybeans continue to increase in price, they still remain the cheapest in the world, which opens up the potential for further growth in the near future. This was reported by analysts at Spike Brokers.
As noted, CIF quotes corresponded to $415-420/t CPT seaports.
“Buyers on the domestic CPT market are keeping prices restrained against the backdrop of available supply.
There is also an increase in prices on the western border, and European buyers are ready to pay more aggressively, especially for soybeans with guaranteed EUDR compliance,” the brokers noted.
Meanwhile, demand from Europe is focused on the delivery period from January 2026.
Prices for European buyers on the border are within €380/t.
- The spot price index for GM soybeans for export with delivery within 30 days increased by another $6 excluding VAT to $405/t.
- The spot price index for GM soybeans for processing also increased by $4 to $444/t including VAT.
- The premium for non-GM soybeans remains stable at $45/t.
