Ukrainian soybean varieties are used in the UK

The EU has recognized the equivalence of the Ukrainian oilseed certification system. In 2021, corn received such equivalence, and last year the share of Ukrainian corn seeds on the EU market reached 10%.
This was stated by the executive director of the Danube Soya Association, Volodymyr Pugachev, during a meeting with journalists.
“Although most of this volume is the product of foreign companies’ factories. But Ukrainian soybean varieties are already known abroad: in particular, in the UK they use the selection of the Chervonohrad Institute – it is well suited to their conditions,” Volodymyr Pugachev noted.
