Ukrainian grain exports exceeded 22 million tons
As of January 24, in 2023/2024 MY Ukraine exported 22 mln 147 thsd tonnes of grains and pulses, which is 3 mln 594 thsd tonnes or 1.16 times less than last year. This is reported on the website of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
Exports of Ukrainian wheat amounted to 8 million 720 thousand tons, which is 561 thousand tons less than last year.
Ukrainian farmers also exported 1 million 273 thousand tons of barley and 1.0 thousand tons of rye.
Exports of Ukrainian corn amounted to 12 mln 003 thsd tonnes, which is 2 mln 568 thsd tonnes or 1.21 times less than last year.
Also, 64.0 thousand tons of flour were exported (85.3 thousand tons in terms of grain), which is 15.2 thousand tons less than last year.
As a reminder, the exports of agricultural products in the first half of 2023/24 MY are 17% lower than last year.
Preliminary data published by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food on exports of grains and pulses were dated January 19. According to them, in 2023/2024 MY the total export volume of grains and pulses was 21 mln 446 thsd tonnes.
