Ukrainian grain exports are 70% higher than last year in October
In October 2024, Ukraine exported 3 mln 693 thsd tonnes of grains and pulses, which is 1 mln 541 thsd tonnes or 71.6% more than in October 2023.
This is reported on the website of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
The export of Ukrainian wheat in October 2024 amounted to 1 mln 580 thsd tonnes, up 437 thsd tonnes or 38.2% compared to the same month last year.
Also, in October 2024, Ukrainian farmers exported 368 thsd tonnes of barley, which is 311 thsd tonnes or more than 6 times more than in September 2023. In addition, in October 2024, 3.1 thsd tonnes of rye were exported, which is more than 30 times more than in October 2024.
Ukrainian corn exports in October 2024 amounted to 1 mln 730 thsd tonnes, up 789 thsd tonnes or 83.8% compared to October 2023.
In addition, in October 2024, 6.2 thsd tonnes of flour (or 8.3 thsd tonnes in terms of grain) were exported abroad, which is 0.5 thsd tonnes less than in October 2023.In October, grain exports are 70% higher than last year
